Plug Me In, a UK provider of EV charge point and heat pump technology, is now helping homes and businesses access smarter energy solutions with a raft of new offerings.
The company has recently acquired Environmental Energies Limited (EEL) and is now expanding to become a comprehensive one-stop shop for clean energy homes and businesses spanning heat pumps, battery, solar and EV.
Founded in 2011 and based in the Midlands, EEL is a nationwide provider of residential and commercial energy infrastructure services, including solar power and battery storage capabilities.
Following the acquisition, plans are underway to develop new supporting services for battery and solar, to meet the diverse needs of Plug Me In’s customers and increase accessibility, with financing options and subscription services.
With solar and battery working to capture and store electricity, the resulting supply can be used by businesses and homeowners to power heat pumps and electric vehicle charging, reducing energy bills long term while also presenting sustainable solutions.
Kim Ratcliffe, managing director of Plug Me In, said: “Plug Me In is focused on pioneering innovative solutions that accelerate a clean energy transition. With the acquisition of EEL and introduction of its experienced solar and battery technicians, we can accelerate the adoption of clean energy technologies, providing seamless integration with our existing heat pump and EV infrastructure offerings.
“Our combined expertise will help individuals and businesses to embrace more sustainable practices, helping them on their journey towards net zero.”
