Chinese spending on green energy causes global glut

China has invested heavily in clean energy, spending $546 billion in 2022 on investments. This funding went to solar and wind power, electric cars, and batteries. This funding is almost four times the amount of US funding, which amounted to $141 billion. China has also dominated in low-carbon manufacturing.
